Ok just a quick little thing which is beginning to annoy me, basically from the main route menu when you select any route, it automatically starts the journey for that route!
Then I have to pause and quit after it loads to gain access to the menu I want which is :
    1.Continue journey
    2.Explore
    3.Tools
I just want it like in TSW2020 I select the route then choose what I want to do next.

Yep, me too. I don't want to do 30+ hours of switching with the GP38-2 before I play with the AC4400CW. Must be confusing for new players.

    Good point.
It's the same after you finished a journey trip, you can only continue. In TSW2020 you were able to continue, start again I think and exit. Now it always loads the next tour and only then your able to leave the game.

I understand your frustration. This is a new feature in TSW2. As others already said, you can turn this off in the settings, it’s somewhere almost at the bottom of the settings list.
The big problem with this is that this was very poorly communicated by DTG. As far as I know this was only mentioned once in a live stream. I was one of the lucky ones who happened to see that stream, so I knew to turn it off first time I played the game. But people who didn’t watch this stream have heard nothing whatsoever about this feature. In my opinion, a major gameplay change like this, should have been included in the first intro that the game plays when one starts it up for the first time.

As someone stated above, there is an option in the settings menu to turn off automatically loading you into a journey! Hope this helps!

Turning off this option is only a workaround! DTG should take a closer look and make sure that services or trainings already done by the player won't be restarted again and again.
And, for new players, there should be some information about this behaviour.

I see, your talking about when you want to continue your journey, it loads into a tutorial or scenario you have already completed? I’m not sure why it does that.

That's right, and I believe it was really meant to take you to the next unfinished part in journey mode for each particular route.
That would also mean, it doesn't do anything if you completed them all.

This happened in TSW as well, at first it does work but as soon as you either choose a scenario or tutorial out of order it has a hard time knowing where you want to continue from.

Sorry, but that's nonsense, the feature is called "Auto Journey Mode", and within journey mode it's perfectly clear which part I've completed and which I have not. Also the game never has to take into consideration if I did something in other modes. It only has to the select the first uncompleted journey, it's as simple as that.

Auto journey also happening in TSW 2020 with TSW 2 installed. Selected LIRR and launched into a journey and not the menu. Will disable the feature as mentioned. Great tip!

I know in TSW2020 journey mode, the ‘continue journey’ option in the menu will go to the first unplayed scenario/service in the whole list, even if you are in a completely different chapter. This has been a problem because there are many scenarios and services included in the journeys in TSW that are bugged and can’t be completed (or have been too difficult for me to complete), so they remain the ‘continue journey’ option forever more.

Although it’s supposed to be a helpful feature, especially for new players, the Auto Journey actually forces you into a certain timeline. If anything is bugged like it was in TSW2020 or you come across a scenario you can’t complete, you will be stuck in that scenario forever, or until you disable the feature. That certainly isn’t helpful to anyone.

Disregard my message above, all is well. It was a route intro which was running, which I believe is standard when a route is run for the first time.
