I’d like some random conditions. Living in the UK that’s what the weather is every day, completely random. It’s too easy to set spring clear for everything.
+1 Hadn't thought of this but I think it would be a great idea. Definitely one for the suggestions forum.
It would add a lot to the experience not knowing what conditions you are about to face until you’re actually in the cab and see it for yourself
Would be a good addition to the weather options. I will often go with whatever the weather is looking out of my window. Or by checking local conditions for my start point. It's clear that weather plays a big part in our enjoyment of the sim.
Adhesion and weather will certainly make a difference, obviously it’s nice to choose how we want to play but a random function would give the game a very good extra option that would surly be easy to implement
This feature is sort of already there in ‘Journey mode’. When you select a service or scenario in that mode you don’t know what the weather will be.
It would still be a nice option in the main game, isn’t the weather always the same in scenario planner? I read it was, I haven’t looked at it yet so don’t know
I'm sure Matt said on a recent stream that random weather isn't currently being considered. I assume the weather is loaded at the start of the route and changing it could introduce *cough* some freezes or lag to TSW2.
Not changing weather DURING the game but random weather, season, time pre determined before the route loads, so a different random scenario loads each time
Dynamic weather would be awesome and probably kill the frame rate even more, Matt did mention the fact and it was easy to guess really, a random button would be a nice option so you jump into a game not knowing what’s in store until you’re in the cab and then you take it from there, wipers or no wipers ect ect
To have it easier, maybe some talented guy here can make an easy randomizer online? You randomize online and put the randomized stats manually into the weather options ingame. Sure it is not as easy as an ingame button, but it is the same idea. Unfortunately I know nothing about programming and wouldn't be able to make such a randomizer.
