I have been really enjoying Sand Patch Grade recently. All I am missing is the alerter on AC4400CW as the runs on the route are quite long. I am aware that you can plug in a keyboard and enable it, but I would prefer to have a controller function. Please Dovetail. Thank you.

There is already a Alerter controller function:
Have you pressed "B" on your XBox-controller? That might help...:D

I believe they’re asking for an easy way on controller to actually enable the system. ‘B’ only acknowledges it once it’s turned on, it doesn’t actually turn the system on.

Can you not activate the alerter on the Fuse panel like you can on the SD40-2, and GP38-2? Sorry i'm not as familiar with the AC4400CW.

from what i believe the only way to turn the alerter on is via a keyboard and there is no way via controls to turn it on

Yeah, there is no in-cab button/function to enable the alerter. I believe in reality it is always automatically switched on, but not in the simulator. :-(
