Hello everyone. I kinda fallen in love with the FP40-2CAT loco from Penisula Corridor on TSW and I’m wondering that if there’s any more routes that those trains run on doing passenger services. I think some operate from Chicago and maybe more cities in the US. I mean sure the braking is a bit of a pain to get right, but it gives the loco a bit of character! Also... I like the MP36PH from Peninsula corridor doing the baby bullet services as well as the MP15-DC switcher too. So route ideas featuring these locos doing passenger services in the US?
Oh god let me think I don't know what I mean by a few but here is a list I could think of MBTA owns F40's & MP36's MNRR owns a few not a ton of F40's LIRR owns a few MP15ac Metrolink a few MP-36's & a few F40's Coaster owns a few F40's Amtrak not commute but F40 cabbage cars cab car+luggage=Cabbage I think
MBTA has everything Caltrain has. Only 2 MP36s but a couple dozen F40s, and a lot of gp’s. Someone who works at the yard caught this photo and I love it. I keep hoping MBTA gets more traction here because they, themselves, actually expressed interest in collaborating with DTG.
