Welcome to the weekend (nearly) everybody.

There are loads of good suggestions for routes but there's a lot of reading in there, so I thought, why not just see if people want to post a quick list of what routes they'd build if they were in charge at DTG.
Give your suggestions a name/section of line, era and rolling stock. This way the community manager can cut and paste and pass to the development team more easily.

Obviously I'll give myself first go and some won't be a surprise. You can dream big, area/type bias allowed!

    GEML - London to Ipswich & Clacton/Walton 1999 - Classes 86,312, 315 321
    C2C - Fenchurch Street - Shoeburyness 2018 - Classes 357/387 and 37/47/66 can be used for freight.
Wherry Lines & mainline Ipswich to Norwich 2020 (Also GEML add-on Classes 720/745/755
London Victoria to Brighton & Lewes - 2018 (connects to Coastway route & adds Classes 387 & 700)
    Edinburgh to Newcastle - 2018 Classes 43, 91, 185, Azuma
    Inverness to Stirling - 2020 - Classes Azuma, HST, 158, 170
Leeds to Carlisle - 1968 - Classes 45, 50, Cravens Class 105 and [drum roll] Britannia Class steam loco
    Euston to Northampton 1977 - Classes 86, 87, 310, 501, TS38

That should take us up to 2025.

More AI traffic would be nice. And more frequency on the bakerloo line. Trains are about 20 mins apart...

Delightful. Hopefully some more red signals to chase. Apart from the timings which are a bit too tight, the bakerloo is incredibly relaxed and not very challenging.
