Yep, I have to keep spamming the button like a mad man. As far as problems go, it’s not a huge deal, but it’s clearly not been fixed in this patch.
Same here - not one button or D pad work well. As you mentioned having to "KEEP SPAMMING THE BUTTON" ps I like your wording "SPAMMING" never heard that one before
When I press the circle I usually get a beep. With me I have often thought I had found the secret combination to getting it to load in. Then next time back to normal, press anything and everything and wait until it makes it's mind up that it is going to start.
Tried it but didn't seem to make any difference. Still took a while and I ended up doing what I often do, press every button in sight several times. Eventually it gets there thankfully but the pressing the pad was worth a try.
Mine has in fact started well today so far by pressing down on the D pad. I have had a couple of times on the past when I thought things had improved then it went back to not loading well. I had been leaving the game open and going into rest mode to make things easier. But I have now closed it to test it again with the down on the D pad. If it continues to load well for a few more start ups with it I will try another button to see what happens. Not over confident but the two starts today have been the best so far.
Last night(Thursday) was really bad getting past railway warning page. Must have taken a good minute to start. Almost packed in and played something else else when it clicked in.
What seems to work most for me at the moment, not always though is. When it says Press Any Key To Advance, I give it a few seconds and press down on the D pad, often seems timing it right helps. If it doesn't work I press until it does. Then when it gets to the Press Any Key To Start screen I again press down on the D pad and then continue pressing all the other buttons on the D pad anticlockwise until it starts. It often starts within seconds. Other combinations may well work just as good but as this works at the moment for me I will continue with this for a while before I try other combinations.
I just keep pressing down on the D pad now on both screens and often starts in just a few seconds now.
Isn't it strange that some experience things others don't? You'd think it would be the same for everyone. I'm lucky not to have experienced this, I just press X and away it goes.
