Now available for Train Simulator is Norfolk Southern’s efficient GP33ECO diesel and its RP-M4C slug partner.

I really wish we'd get some NS locomotives that have scenarios for a route that isn't the N-Line...

Its this or the Coal District, so either 4-axles in branchline service or six-axles in heavy coal service. Better off waiting until someone does a new NS route (either that be DTG or a 3rd Party such as Milepost).

Unrealistic, but I suppose the workshop will be populated. Ask Not.Silent, I'm sure he'll be glad to comply :)
Both the Horseshoe Curve and Coal District are filled with trains ad nauseum, plus of course N-Line still can use bits of marketing - and most everyone these days should have it. There are some other candidates but most of them are a decade old: the NEC, or Ohio Steel. I wouldn't mind but overall those wouldn't be welcome I suppose.

Yeah fair point but it could do some switching and light work on Horseshoe Curve right? The C39-8 does have scenarios for that route so it shows that NS stuff can work there.

The GP33ECO is a cool loco idea. We need more of these. I'd love a few more Genset liveries (BNSF, UP, NS, etc.), an ET44AC/C4, an SD70ACe-T4, and a few other rebuilt diesels.

Travel By Train is working on an SD70ACC, so there's that, they also seemed interested in an SD70ACU, but both of those would be behind their next loco, the SD60. FB_IMG_1599771117725.jpg
