See video. At 02:00 I try to take a screenshot, but camera keys 2 and 3 take me to the rear of the train. The train was behaving different that I expected, until I found out the gradient HUD was reversed; it showed uphill when going down, and downhill when going up. Most clearly shown on the steep grade near Lackenby Steel Works. See 21:15 at the video.
Tees Valley seems to have an issue knowing what is forwards and what is back. It’s a long standing bug.
I've played one time table confirming above problem. Also the view from outside seemed wrong way round [normally view-3 puts at the front first]. I noticed that I was sat in cab 2. Shouldn't make any difference though.
When the 20 was released, a copious amount of fudge was used to get it to work. Bugs like this are a side-affect sadly.
So the issue of TVL thinking trains are reversing and the issue of TSW2 not reversing the gradient when a train is reversing have combined to make this bug. Nice. Add the bug introduced by the class 20 making all doubles go nose to nose and you have a right pickle of a situation for DTG to fix.
And now we're starting to guess how long it will to take to finally fix this. And I don't mean how long it will take for a first update ...
