I feel that we haven't had that much narrow gauge in train simulator and we need more although I do believe that adding narrow gauge railways into TSW2 would be even better. I would also love to see some 15 inch gauge in TSW2 such as the Romney hythe and dymchurch railway or the ravenglass and eskdale. I believe these would make great new additions to the train sim community in general, but would really be amazing in TSW2.
Narrow gauge lines will likely follow steam trains into TSW but steam is still a long way off at the moment.
Well, not all narrow gauge routes operate steam engines. I'd love to see one of the Swiss RhB narrow gauge routes, those use modern electric equipment.
I would like to see the Tallylyn Railway in Tywyn Wales, it features 3 steam locomotives and plenty of stations
Euskotren! I'd certainly pay a pretty penny to sample the Basque Country's meter-gauge railway in TSW. Though it does travel through some truly spectacular geography so I'm not sure it would be easy to replicate!
Outside of Heritage and tourist railroads here in the US there is only 1 operating narrow gauge railroad, in California, owned by USG, and runs from Plaster City to a gypsum quarry 26 miles away. Not much in terms of content for TSW though....
If we get Narrow Gauge in TSW2, I'd also like to suggest the Cumbres and Toltec, Durango and Silverton, and White Pass and Yukon.
