That's what's happened the last few years People who have any version of the game engine (ie TS2018, 19, 20 etc) get a free game update to the latest version This does not update your DLC collection, although all DLC will work with all versions If you get the TS2021 BUNDLE you effectively get licenses for all the DLC in that bundle, and given it's about the cost of a single (brand new) route, you're effectively getting three routes, and all the included consists for the price of one route (or four if you get the deluxe)
In my case I've normally bought the bundled routes already - however this year I've only got Fife Circle already so may benefit from a bundle
As usual, I'll probably buy it, play one scenario on the German and British routes, then go back to other games.
I think for me this is the first time I don't have _any_ of the bundled routes already, so guess I'll go for the deluxe this time.
As DTG confirmed on Twitter, and has been mentioned numerous times on these forums, yes the WCML South add-on will be available to buy on it's own through Steam. We just don't know exactly when. Still seems strange to me the 2021 update is due to come out in a couple of days but no more info has been released, but it's whatever.
I would say it's more likely to also include a 66 and some wagons because the route is heavy with freight in real life Might also include or tie in with the overground as these run up the adjacent DC lines from Wembley to Watford Junction
Well it will look a bit empty, there will be no stopping services or the Euston to Birmingham class 350 services. I would imagine there won't be anything on the DC lines. I doesn't bother me particularly as I make my own scenarios and can use other DLC but it might be an issue for those that don't.
Well, a bit like the WCML North then, with only a Class 86 and Mk3s, and the busy commuter lines trafficed by the occasional HST(!) and Class 47s and Mk2s(!)....
I suppose so but that was around 8 years ago and DTG have been much better in supplying adequate stock in more recent years. The line out of Euston isn't all about express trains to the north, there is a frequent commuter service using EMU's plus the middle distance EMU services to the Midlands. It would be like the GWML out of Paddington with a HST but no Network Turbo.
Thanks for the info! A bit late in the day but i wasn't exactly expecting a midnight release or anything.
Mine will likely be for the actual TS2021 update going by what Steam shows should anytime within the next 30 minutes
Hullo, just thought I would drop in to see what is happening? Is there a derailment of the loco just before it got to the platform? Or a signaling problem perhaps? Or a signaling strike?
Mine had update instead of the play button on the steam page, clicked that and it did the very underwhelming 382.4mb update.. So far the workshop tab seems functional.
