Both the analog and TOD gauges for the brake pipe won't work unless you are traveling under 6mph on the M7. Kinda need that if operating with no hud.

Similar bug on the ECW Class 377, how wonderful TSW2 is worse than TSW1

Isn't that because the M7 uses electric brakes for slowing down, and only using air brakes when stopped? Or you're talking about something else? Sorry, I havn't tested the M7 yet, even though I drove it a lot in TSW1.

So you're saying what they did was fix it? That may explain why it feels like it takes a little longer to come to a stop in tsw2.
    Thanks for the info!

I don't think they changed anything (regarding this). It worked the same way in TSW1 as well. It only uses air brakes for stopping when already under 6mph.

When you are starting braking from higher speeds, you should see the electric brake force shown by the red bar right near the speedo.

Thats the thing. In TSW2020, the brake pipe was fully operable the whole time. The moment you apply brakes at any speed, the Gauge showed it.

Umm, no? I don't have TSW2020 installed anymore, so I can't check it myself, but I watched a few videos and it pretty clearly works the same. Air brake only comes on when you're almost stopped.

The M3 however uses air brakes even at speed, I believe. Maybe you're confused because of that?
