Hi. Bit of a n00b question, but is there an easy way to see what a consist within a scenario is made up of? I've watched a few videos on scenario creation but can't see how to do this. If for example I open a scenario in the editor, and there's a consist that I want to replace with a similar one, can I bring up a dialog that shows what units the consist is made up of?
Also, how do I exit the scenario editor?

    Thanks :)

Last thing first - to Exit the Scenario Editor just press the Play Button - bottom Right and it asks if you wish to save.

AFAIK there is no way to know which vehicles the train is formed of in the game
With a program called TS Tools you can look at any scenario and it will give you a list of the different vehicles in any train including those which don't move - like wagons in a sidings.
It also tells you the Path - like railworks\Assets\RSC\RivieraLine\RailVehicles\Diesel\Class143
With TS Tools you can change the formation of any train.

But that does not help if you don't know the names of those locos/coaches/wagons - etc
It is something you learn over time and sometimes the different stock is shown in the route manual

Thanks for the reply Peter. I think I found what I needed from a combination of wikipedia and watching a youtube video (I wanted to know the makeup of the 450 consists on Portsmouth Direct Line to replace them with AP equivalents). I see from the numbering that they're repeating blocks of DMSO(A)-TCO-TSO-DMSO(B) (8 cars in this case).
And from the TMS on Alan Thomson's video that the 12 car train in that in AP's scenario is made up of repeating blocks of DMC(1)-TOSLW-TOSL-DMC2.

Good to know that I wasn't missing an option in the scenario editor, thanks.

Regarding exiting, I'd been using the play button but thought that there must be a different option. Thanks for that answer as well.

TS Tools will let you swap the default 450 for the AP version in any scenario
But some people have found if you have a number of the AP version in one area the game stutters
I have just swapped the player version as there is nothing different to look at for the trains that just wizz past
