Information The Victoria Line is a London Underground line that runs between Brixton and Walthamstow Central. It is a deep-level tube line. It is 13 miles long and has 16 stations. This line is automated, the player should be able to turn ATO off and operate the train manually or, you can just not include the ATO in the first place. Victoria Line Map Rolling Stock The Victoria Line uses 2009 Stock. The 2009 Stock has automated announcements and a unique design. This route is fully underground (the depot is outdoors) but this line has so many unique stations that would be nice to see in TSW 2.
Err a totally underground network, will not be the most fun drive surely? Granted it will be easy to develop...but driving it?
I would love to see this route in tsw2. Although people may complain that because it's a full underground route they may not be intrested in it. But this route being entirely underground is part of London Underground
Although I was initially against the idea of having any of the ATO routes made, after playing Bakerloo I’d like any of the underground routes, and have ATO fully simulated in the routes that have it (with the option to also drive manually). I’d quite like a route that’s fully underground, as that’s by far the best bit of the Bakerloo route. Victoria Line would be suitable for developing in full because of the length. I’d buy it.
There are indeed a lot of suggestions for subway routes. The Victoria Line wouldn't be that difficult I assume to build. I certainly buy it
There's only one more boring Underground route than this and it's the Waterloo & City. One of the joys of virtual train driving is feeling like you're going somewhere, different scenery, see what trains are coming the other way, having some variety in terms of branches or different stopping patterns, driving a train and learning how to control it and stop it where it needs to stop and enjoying the changing of the seasons and different types of weather to make that drive a little more challenging. The Victoria Line has none of the above. ATO, press the close door button, train moves off itself, train stops itself, press the close door button, train moves off itself, repeat until you get to Walthamstow, turn around and head the other way to Brixton. The trains run all the way in single bore tunnels so it's just you and some tunnel ahead. You might as well buy a Victoria cab ride video (if someone's actually made one). If we have to have another Underground route, can it be a sub-surface line because life is less lonely when you can see other trains. At the very least, let's have an Underground line with different branches and outdoor sections.
Way for Jamari to give a 5 year old thread a necro. And yes, if DTG were to do another LUL route, make it the Northern, Central or Metropolitan Line preferably in the late 70's or early 80's.
