Just found out about this: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1422130/SimRail_2021__The_Railway_Simulator/ With multiplayer, ability to work signals, dynamic weather, steam traction from the start and other nice looking features it sounds like it could be good competition for the established train sim games. The devs have also mentioned on the Steam discussion pages that there will be a dev kit for it so it sounds like 3rd party content will be a thing. It certainly looks like an interesting development in the genre.
Wow, that is some impressive looking stuff!!! Dispatcher, Multiplayer, and Steam! DTG better watch their backs! Except there doesn't seem to be any American stuff, that may be a deal breaker for me. On my wishlist though!
