Hi I was wondering as we have east coast railway from Brighton to Eastbourne. Would we be able to southen from London to Brighton calling all stops with a choice of having a express with the class 377 and then maybe have updates of having route add on like London to bognor regis and then we can couple the 4 formation to 8 or 12 at Horsham and carry on to London. I think it would be fantastic because we all could have a choice where we want to go and it could be a best seller for pc xbox one ps4 I am looking forward to your response
Wrong Forum, this is the TS2021 forum. TSW2 forum here: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/forums/trainsimworld/
Hello train drivers! Sorry, my english is not so good Just a question from a newbie. I got "Train Sim World 2020" not so long, just a few months. For me, it's a really good sim! Now I think about the future. I want to buy TS2021. However, there's some kind of confusion. I got two new games in Steam - "Train Simulator 2021" and "Train Sim World 2". Both had the same price! Can you tell me please, what's the difference between them? I had a dream to play Alaska Railroad route addon, and there are words in Steam "You need Train Simulator 2021 to play it". Well, if I decide to buy Train Sim World 2, i cannot play Alaska addon?
Train Sim World 2 is the sequel to Train Sim World 2020. TS2021 is the sequel to TS2020. If you want to stick with Train Sim World, go for Train Sim World 2.
Thanks! One more question) Is it right: Alaska railroad addon is for Train Simulator 2021 only, and it will not available for TSW2?
Anything’s possible, but as it stands, that route isn’t in TSW 2 and isn’t planned to be added. If enough people request a route, they’ll probably consider making it.
Thank you! I stay with Train Simulator 2021)) One more thing I don't understand. If Alaska Railroad addon was released in 2017, how it can be available for Train Simulator 2021, but it's not available for Train Simulator 2020?
Train simulator 2020 isn’t a thing anymore. They rename it each year, so this year it’s called Train simulator 2021. Perhaps you’ve confused it with Train Sim World 2020, which is the old game that TSW 2 was built from.
Sorry guys, one more stupid question I got Train Sim World 2020. If i buy Train Sim World 2021, what happened next: 1 - my Train Sim World 2020 will upgrade to Train Sim World 2021? or 2 - I get in Steam both working independent versions: Train Sim World 2020 and Train Sim World 2021 at the same time?
Hello! Please, tell me, when I buy some addon at Steam (route, or some new locomotive) do I get a readme or manual for this new thing? If it downloaded automatically, where I can find it?
For most DLCs you find the manual on Steam, go the shop page and scroll down a bit, you will find a link on the right side. However, some such as Hauptstrecke München-Augsburg don't have a manual unfortunately. In that case I recommend the DTG streams of the corresponding DLC, there they show for a lot of stuff how it works.
manuals for all applicable DLCs are here: https://live.dovetailgames.com/live/train-sim-world/articles/article/tsw-help Note that not all DLCs have a manual because.... reasons.
And not all manuals appear on the linked page in a timely manner either. The best way for newer releases is still to look on the Steam page. Sigh.
Alternatively I found quite some success using the train simulator manuals, they are much better and most TSW routes are available there as well.
