Noticed that the stats for Hauptstrecke München - Augsburg have now shown up in the steamdb:

From the looks of this, it looks like this route will be announced pretty damn soon. Maybe even this week??

Oh that is interesting... This week we will get a couple of preserved German DLCs, so it would be perfect timing to release a completely new German DLC to it as well... Really hyped for this one :)

You need some more patience. Current status is In Production, which means it is still in the build process. It is likely that Isle of Wight will be the next new route.

Looking at the latest roadmap, it seems OP is correct. HMA is now in the "Upcoming" section

But honestly in the picture, is this a route we know? At first I thought it was HRR but I don't think the glass covered seating areas are present there. And unfortunately I am not a great detail spotter on trains, but in the background, it might be the BR 423 and not the 425?

Edit: Never mind, I am a detail spotter afterall. Look above the first door, there are 3 white emblems. These are only present on the 423 in Munich, not on the 425 ;)
Plus no first class-yellow line behind the cab, which the 425 has and the 423 not.

I think if DTG wanted to tease us they'd be a bit more obvious with it. Once they're ready to announce they'll get the party poppers, glitter and jazz hands out. If I'm wrong then I apologise in advance! ;)

I mean this picture has to be right from München - Augsburg because of my before mentioned spottings, so that picture is a teaser in itself.

I miss the days where DTG would post pics for us to guess what it was, but we got to good at it so they stopped lol

It may be wishful thinking, but this does open the possibility to have railjet/obb trains. I know it’s not on the roadmap but the would be fantastic if it was included down the road. Additionally maybe the new twindexx vario multiple units to add even more variety.

just add ALL the german trains

Looking forward for some trains add-ons: Intercity and Eurocity, DB BR 101 with classic IC DB coaches and ÖBB 1216 (DB BR 183 in German numeration) in EC Railjet composition.

One big stand out from the stream already is that this route will have most services of any route so far with 427 (Until the Bakerloo Line timetable upgrade comes about). This is as a result of additional layers from HRR, RRO & MSB.

The German routes really layer up nicely and it seems good value to get the various German DLCs as they make lots of routes very busy and alive. I would love this to be a big feature for the UK routes too, but I guess they are all of quite different vintage and types that this is perhaps not obvious how to do it. There are a few locos, and I think the 101, that do cross over - but not a lot.

Yeah saw this I was like wow this route will get plenty of game time and also to think we still have trains coming which could be used on this route. I am pumped for this release. Also seeing alot of people wanting railjet I'm in for this.
