I was bored today, so I thought I'd try and fix something that's been annoying me for a while. In my list of Class 90 variants, I have one labelled AGA AP as shown below... My question is... which one is this? It's not the AP Class 90/Mk3 DVD pack... and it's not the DTG GEML Class 90 add-on that comes either stand alone, or with London-Ipswich. Looking inside RailWorks\Assets\AP_Waggonz\Class90Pack01\RailVehicles\Class90 there is an AGA_AP folder, but on a fresh install, with the AP Class90/Mk3DVT Pack installed, the AGA-AP folder is not there, so it's not part of the AP Pack, and it's not part of the GEML Class 90/London-Ipswitch route... so re-installing will obviously not solve the issue. I need to know where it came from to obtain the missing files (unless it is just a missing shared geo file problem)... but I'd really like to know where it came from now, just out of curiosity.. and obviously because re-installing it would be the easiest fix. The reason I ask, is that it's broken... cab visible, but train not functional, and no train on external views.. only couplers visible. See video below. Anyone know what add-on/reskin is adding this AGA_AP folder? Thanks in advance.
It's an extra stock item from AP. Can't remember which one but my nephew had the same issue and one of those solved it
Yeah, gathered that sorry, should have said.. but I don't recall installing that, and I'd like to know where it came from to re-install it. It's not a livery that comes with either the DTG or AP packs.
Yes.. ages ago... I installed the Extra Stock pack for the "Wherry Lines" trying to fix something, and my Wherry Lines is the Steam version, not the AP version. I think that's what has put it there, and why it doesn't work. I think I can safely just nuke that folder from orbit.. do you agree?
Its no the ES from wherry, I downloaded and unpacked it and it has a lot of 90 reskins, but not the AGA one
PH It comes from the APWaggonz Class 90Pack01, (maybe from DTG?)\STEAM\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\AP_Waggonz\Class90Pack01\RailVehicles\Class90\AGA_AP not the APWaggonz Class 90Pack02 nor the Class 90Pack.
Interesting.... Yep.. that's where the folder is, but but it's not installed with the GEML Cass 90, or with the London-Ipswich route, as that creates a folder called "Class90Pack". Here's my AP-Waggonz folder Installing the AP Class90/Mk3DVT Pack crates the "Class90Pack01" folder. The thing is, to try and track it down, earlier, I wiped everything, and let steam download everything again (I'm fully backed up, not a problem) Then installed the AP pack, and I didn't have the AGA_AP folder. It comes from neither the DTG GEML Class90/London Ipswitch install, not does it come from the AP Class90/Mk3DVT Pack. I don't even have that folder, so no idea where that comes from. If you actually have it... is it just a Blue/White stripe Anglia livery?
PH I do have it \STEAM\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\AP_Waggonz\Class90Pack02\RailVehicles\Class90 and it contains FL and FLPH variants - Freight Liner variants from AP.
Found it. It's the class 68 EP extra stock from AP Has AGA reskins for the 90, MK3 coaches and DVT, the JT 153 (also AGA) & DRS reskins for the 47
Aha! Thank you. I wonder why it doesn't work then? Oh well... I have it as a separate reskin anyway. Thanks for tracking it down.
