PlayStation Will Tsw 2020 Work On Tsw 2

Hi everyone quick question. I’m thinking of buying tsw 2020 and want to know if I do will I also get access to the routes on tsw2. I want to ride the trans pennie route and Long Island route.

Yes you will. However, not all of the routes have been released for TSW2 preserved collection yet including Northern Trans Pennine, but once they are you will get access to them in TSW2.

All routes from tsw 2020 will work on tsw 2, EXCLUDING North East Corridor, and its associated DLC.

 

And obviously you will need to purchase TSW2 if you don't already own it. Hope you don't mind me pointing this out but thought just incase best to be clear

 

I all ready own tsw 2 and thought I could get three extra routes once they all become available fir the price of one.

 

Oh that's good and yes that is a good idea for getting those three routes that come with 2020

 

I did this last week on the Xbox, it definitely works. I bought the deluxe edition or something, and got 5 new maps/areas. (4 now, one to come).

You won’t even need to download the game TSW2020, you can download just the addons onto the PlayStation and TSW2 will find them.

Just make the purchase in the PS store, stop the download. Then search TSW2 and go to ‘add ons’ from the game screen, and download the extra bits from there.

To save more money, purchase some PS store vouchers from cdkeys or shopto.

I got TSW 2 when it came out, I then got TSW 2020 with 3 routes and bought an additional 3-4 routes (I'm impatient!), if I waited, would I of got them for free with TSW 2?

 

No. In TSW2 anything you get for 'free' is simply what you have already paid for in TSW2020, be it routes that came with your edition of the game or DLC purchased for TSW2020 that is now available in TSW2. If your copy of TSW2020 is not a Deluxe edition or Collector's edition, then other than the 3 original routes you wouldn't have gotten anything else by waiting.
