I have made several liveries that look good in the livery creator but when I use them they look absolutely horrible. I would like to see the liveries that I make actually look good. I don’t know why they are like this, but I have a feeling it is to make the game run better.

    Every angle appears blocky.

I see alot of people saying this. Iv spent alot of time in livery editor and I must say I dont have this problem very often. Try turning the top slider in projection all the way up.

That locomotive rapidly needs a repaint. A lot of different coloured paint has been spilt all over it.

What do those sliders actually do?
Apologies if it’s been asked before. All I know if you push them all the way up you can mirror stuff on the other side.

Lets say we are applying a square to a gp38.

The top slider controls how the square gets projected onto the gp38.
All the way down it hardly projects onto anything and will start disappearing, all the way up it covers everything.

The bottom one as you say can be used to mirror the shape to the opposite side. This I have noticed can be quite glitchy in the game, textures looking wierd etc I usually prefer to just copy the original shapes to then other side.
It can also be used in the opposite way to only paint parts that stick out.

Try painting handrails and mess about with them.

    Hope that helps
