I told myself weeks back that I'm not spending any more money on preserved collection until I've completed IOW. Just hope there's a few months between Kent High Speed and IOW. If I'd known iow was going to be this long I'd have purchased the San Jose route
15th October confirmed by an email just now, looks great. 10% preorder bonus for steam on the message. Of course not on the ps store yet... but it’s a date to countdown to.
Christ. Believe the other poster meant not, not now Steam pre order now for 10% Consoles, it won’t be on either store until the release date. Same as TSW2020 I guess.
Only one more week to go! A few more screenshots on Rivet's website: https://www.rivet-games.com/product/tsw2-isle-of-wight/
looking nice, oh yeah this may be the first almost 1:1 mapped route in terms of the appearance of the surroundings
In terms of quality, the screenshots are looking fantastic. As the only routes we have received on TSW up to this point have been developed in house by DTG. What are the chances Isle of Wight sets a new standard in TSW content? Would DTG allow this?
I think having the tools in other developers hands will benefit development on TSW2 for anyone involved and benefit us content wise.
I do agree with you. Plus brings up the variety with quality. At least I hope so More routes, more variety, more possibilities.
Yes very fun. Not sure about the Rivet Games logo over everything, but I’ll certainly have a nice ice cream.
Does anyone know exactly when this is being released on PS4. Will it be midnight tonight or sometime during tomorrow?
Typically new stuff becomes available at midnight of your local time. So, in Australia or NZ it could be available already
Going by the usual release time for PS4, we should see it at 11am Eastern time zone Thursday, October 15th. Unless they announce other plans that is the time I would expect to see it release.
Judging from the pre-release screenshots and the video they uploaded to Facebook. It looks like this will be the first route with birds?!
Seagulls probably. One of the stations is called “Ryde PIER Head”. It’d probably be weird to not have them. Hopefully they have audio files.
There are birds flying around in parts of Sand Patch Grade. I saw some near the summit I think. It was a lovely surprise. When I used to have Trainz there were quite a lot of little things like that in routes. They always add pleasure to the experience.
There was also a butterfly flying around in the long grass in this video. https://twitter.com/i/status/1315686971751174149 These features do give the route a bit of life and make it feel less like a photo, which for me is a great thing.
This is the Australia product link https://store.playstation.com/en-au...earch-results:buttonrow-search-ps-store:null: Obviously don't buy it if you're not in Australia
The needles are cut in half etc I think rivet is like DTG they don’t test enough before releasing especially on console
2 services but it’s still in low quality I think it’s an issue with LOD I’ll try to post more pictures. [ EDIT ] pictures posted PS: I’m on PS4 pro I don’t know if it’s the same for XBox one or PC
I was live an hour ago, did the tutorial, it's basically the same as the 72 stock tube. Not really explored it properly yet, no seagulls, but the adverts in the tube trains advertise Rivet Games and Matt advertising a Just Giving page to visit Switzerland! I'll have a proper look tomorrow once I've had a sleep. It downloaded in under 20 minutes on my PS4 Pro.
If you look on You Tube for Flickyhecky, you'll see me trying to get to grips with the train, I gave up after a while as I'm too tired!
