It looks like the first loco add on for TSW2 will be the DB BR 363 as it's stats are now on the steamdb: Hopefully we will hear more details soon. Steamdb: https://steamdb.info/app/1282590/history/
Holy ...! I didn't even know this one is coming! Maybe read the roadmap too fast and loose. What a beautiful surprise
Not the word I'd use for it, but I have seen something similar to that working around Hamburg when I drove through there a couple of years back
This may not be the case. In theory, this is supposed to be a DLC for RSN, but I also hope for a miracle
I hope the services are part of the route timetable, so either loco would work on both routes, even without owning the other one. I guess we'll have to see until after the release though.
I wouldn't expect the services to work without the DLC (as that's not something DTG do as standard), but I would hope the services are usable for both should you own both DLCs. This would double the amount of content for each (as I wouldn't mind repeating a service with the other loco).
Timetable services designed for BR204 should work for BR363 if power is suitable to haul them, but I think that they are not part of preserved MSB yet. BR363 services will need loco lenght tweak (as Matt explain in case of BR182,155 for SKA freight) to support BR204, so hope that they don't forget to implement it.
Maybe a question for the roadmap stream tonight given the loco is on the roadmap... Hopefully the substitution system allows for it
Indeed. DTG Protagonist any chance this question could be answered in the stream (or anywhere else I guess) :P
Absolutely! Good idea. I was kind of dissapointed of what was doable with the 204 ... and what not. Plus the bug with the 5 km/h speed limit in the yard (the services took loooong for me because of that hehe) left me with some sour taste, even though (after installing a sound mod) I enjoyed the first German Diesel in TSW most of the time and said here in the forums it's worth it's price ;-)
I might be jumping the gun here but don't they always say on stream that they talk about upcoming releases when these releases are properly announced? It is the same to why there is no official conversation about these things for anything in the roadmap. HMA was teased recently,so as soon as they drop official info on that I suppose this will be the first thing they will talk about. Just saying before y'all get your hopes up.
Asking if an upcoming loco "may be used in substitution" or at least if it's being worked on is different to "will this work, as in has it been completed?!?"
Argue as much as you want, I predict that the same answer as before will be applied: "we will talk about the 363 when we are close to releasing it." But hey at least we can rant again that our questions won't be answered I guess. Edit: The last part is sarcasm just to make sure...
