After watching today's stream on the new route from München to Augsburg a question/suggestion popped in my head and I wanted to share it here, hopefully, also get a word on it from someone. DTG Natster ? Right after leaving München Hauptbahnhof the crazy cluster of tracks passes underneath the Hackerbrücke, which has also been featured in the route's artwork (this bridge has direct access to the first S-Bahn stop usable on the map). In reality, it is probably the most well-known railfanning stop in München, maybe in all of Bavaria. Views from this bridge are especially stunning during sunset (and sunrise on the other side) when the sun is not too high above the horizon and reflect beautifully in the tracks. With that in mind is it possible to walk on the bridge and do a bit of virtual railfanning on it? If not, would it be possible to make the bridge accessible in its section over the tracks (it continues a bit further among the buildings, but that is of no use to train simulator game)? It is not a very large area to make walkable and "I got stuck-proof", looks already fairly detailed from the screenshots and it would create an unusual speciality for this route.
Just adding my support. This is indeed a great place just to watch rail traffic. Would be great to be able to spawn there on foot.
Not many things improve your day like seeing this for yourself after hopping off a bus in München at 6 am with serious sleep deprivation.
Yes, I would love to see this accessible. That is a stunning view. The limits to where you can walk are one of the more frustrating aspects of the sim for me. I wouldn't expect to walk miles but adjacent, streets, lanes and fields outside station should be possible. You can't even walk into a station car park. These are all areas which they have modelled scenically.
With the release date now being known could we get some information to the topic of this thread? It is just a detail, but it seems many people would enjoy the feature being present on this route and it probably wouldn't be that insanely difficult to make possible.
