From northern Estonia and as lot of other Estos, am living and working in Helsinki met area in Finland. Been travelling far and wide, lived in Sheffield (England) for number of years. Two favourite countries in TSW are UK as I was living in there and it's special and Germany for personal reasons, travel reasons, trains, ppl and much more. Plus those two countries I can relate to as well.

City: Barcelona Autonomous Region: Catalonia Country: Spain So yeah, I live in the second biggest city in Spain and one of the biggest metropolitan areas in the whole of Europe (more than 5M people) so there is a lot of railway activity: City Trams: Metro Trains: Commuter Trains: High Speed AVE (Bird) Trains: Freight Trains:
I grew up in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Lived 4 blocks from the Juniata shops and rail yard. I'm in Pittsburgh, PA now. The T line here in Pittsburgh would make a good commuter route. It's not too long, and has 2 lines with lots of stops to keep it interesting.
I grew up in the Black Country, West Midlands, UK. The Severn Valley Railway was a huuuge influence on me in my childhoold, I think I put my interest in trains down to that, rather than my frequent travels through the pre-refurb Birmingham New Street station xD. I now live in Madrid, Spain, centre of Europe's largest High Speed Rail network!
Living in southern Sweden, in Hjärup near Malmö. My local station in the photo. Born in Warsaw, Poland.
Hi I'm from Brussels, Belgium, and my local station is, among the 32 stations in Brussels, Brussels Midi ! Already saw the ICE 3M in real life lots of time and already travelled on the Schnellfahrtstrecke Köln Aachen once in real life with a DB BR 146 + Dosto train.
I'm just gonna say I'm from the largest city in the US without any type of passenger rail . I'm sure you can figure it out...
Thank you very much guys, for continuing posting, so we could now the different countries and cities of the world of the members participating in this great community!
Butte, Montana, USA. Here in Butte is probably the worst area known to man to be a fan of trains. We used to have an excellent rail system, but once the mines shut down and the populace fled the area the trains are practically nonexistent. We might get a couple a month going to Montana Resources (mine) but that's about it.
