As things currently stand, the Class 03 and 05 diesel mechanical shunters would be ideal traction for the creation of this line. The 05 had previously worked the line from 1966-84 before being replaced by a 03 (which had its roof profile lowered at Ryde works before starting work). I believe that the 03 on the steam railway is a original profile example but still ideal for setting this up. Fingers crossed that this comes about.
