If you have the PC version of TSW2, can you also use an xbox controller instead (on a PC)? I am getting fed up with the non joystick keyboard controlling options only and all that mousing around.
I used to, but found I needed the extra buttons. You soon get used to the keyboard, though I'm looking forward to Raildriver support.
Yeah, I think once raildriver support is added I'll buy one. Hopefully it's not too difficult to get one sent to NZ!
It’s a purpose built controller for Train Simulations. Think of it as a joystick, except for trains instead of flight sims. Here’s their website: http://raildriver.com/
wow, I had no idea these existed. thanks for the link I've gotten used to using a controller at this point, but I'm definitely interested in trying a keyboard (I play on Xbox One X) Probably gonna pick one up if I see a good deal around Black Friday
I found a programmable rgb keyboard helps me. Acceleration green Brakes red Cameras orange Lights white etc etc Makes a difference
Not sure if this is what the poster meant, but RGB keyboards have been around for a bit now. They're just keyboards that have individual per key backlights that can be changed to any color. I'm typing on one right now. It's easy on most to create profiles for individual games so that all the key backlights will turn off except those that get used in the game, and then you can set the color of each key. So you could make the A green for go, and red for stop, white for headlights, blue for wipers, whatever the heck you'd like.
There is another option like raildriver but is still in development, they also have AWS plungers and door panels: http://www.tscontrollers.co.uk/pbc.html
