I believe it is available as part of the AP Class 150/1 Enhancement Pack which can be found here. https://www.armstrongpowerhouse.com/enhancements/multiple_unit/class_150-1_enhancement_pack Edit: I checked and I am wrong. I also just googled and I can't seem to find any ATW 150/1 reskins. Everything is for the 150/2 since I'm guessing ATW never had 150/1s IRL.
Try https://www.dpsimulation.org.uk/ for free skins outside of enhancement packs like Armstrong or others. That said, some skins WILL only be found in those packs as they are applied to the version of the 150/2 that Armstrong made. So it's possible to have two different versions of the same train with an Arriva skin. Using DPSimulation for this search, they do not have a Class 150/1 with the Arriva skin. They DO have a 156 Arriva Northern skin, and another for the Class 158 which requires the Arriva Wales DMU Pack (no longer sold). I do not know if the latter has been recreated on another model of the 158, like the separate pack available from Steam. SUPERALBS actually does have two 150/2 skins at https://superalbs.weebly.com/train-sim-reskins.html as well as a refurbished Class 143, among possibly others. Both 150 skins, unfortunately, require the no longer available 150/2 pack from Steam. As noted here, you have to go to Armstrong now, and it sounds like they're part of that pack. To complicate matters, workshop scenarios using the 150/2 from Steam do not work with the AP one, meaning you need to substitute another train like the Armstrong one. That is one detail I particularly dislike. But being a different model, I get it.
As already stated the 150/1 never worked for Arriva so unless someone's done a 'fictional' re-skin he's not likely to find one.
What even happened with the old 150/2 pack? Did DTG take it offsale when they saw APs was so much better.
It was removed from sale along with the SWC (+ SW Extension), NWC (+NW Extension) and Welsh Marches (original branded) due to the licensing with Arriva ending, Same thing happened with the Virgin trains and some US loco's (BNSF iirc).
You literally just told me something with that - that I might have it from when I snapped up the SWC stuff. And I just realized I do. Nice. This is the SteamDB package for it. Obviously, the Store link wouldn't work now.
The only thing I'm truly annoyed that I missed out on was the NW Extension, damn that bugs me way more than it should but still.. I don't have the Virgin 390 Pendolino either but I suppose I can at least re-skin the WCML-S one if I wanted too.
The Pendolino found a new home in WCML South, so that works. Skin it and then find scenarios using the original, replace, enjoy. I missed the Voyager 220, but it's similar to an HST so I am talking to someone who has it to see if edited scenario can be posted for those who missed the DLC. I'm actually tempted to put the Voyager Advanced in them when I eventually install that, which is the only reason I am really interested. It can be nice to have multiple versions of a scenario to try different trains on the same objective list, anyway. Right now I'm just having too much fun with the 377. That thing drives like a dream. London-Brighton is going to be a fun scenario pack for that reason. May have to get external packs for it and return very soon after I go to other routes.
The 150/2 which was on Steam was withdrawn because it was a Thomson_Oovee product and they asked DTG to remove it. This was 2017 https://dovetailgames.kayako.com/News/NewsItem/View/124/thomsonoovee-class-150-notice Later Thomson_Oovee sold the model to AP who released their version. Peter
The "Arriva Trains Wales Class 150/2 DMU Add-On" that was removed with the other arriva products was the one by AP. The older one removed in 2017 was made Thomson/Oovee, and this removed due to some contractural changes between Thomson and Oovee. After they had it removed from sale, Thomson/Oovee sold the model to Armstrong Powerhouse, which was used to make the full AP class 150/2 pack, available on their website. A reduced version made its way onto steam in the ATW livery (same way as how on steam you can get the GEML class 90, London Overground 313, GEML class 315 etc.) This was then removed due to the end of ATW.
I thought the reason it was removed was because of some problems with the model itself, AP bought it and changed it, and now it's a favourite. LOL
Nothing wrong with the version before AP got their hands on it - they just added extra liveries in one pack. Most of those were already made by Richard Fletcher and are on DP Simulation Peter
Yes, I remember seeing that workshop scenarios would not work with the AP one. If this is wrong, then so be it, but I already have the Arriva and presume AP installs to a different directory, meaning it would be different anyway and not work even if identical.
So apart from liveries what else is in the AP version - a radio / RETB that people can push buttons on but not use
