TS has steam engines yet tsw can't have them until dtg figures out what controls does a tsw steam engine need,so just what kind of controls does a TS steam engine have?

Maybe it's got something to with TS using a keyboard and mouse as default.
Controllers being the default for console means it can't be assumed the user will have or want to have a keyboard. And there aren't enough buttons to control every aspect of steam.

If it is that issue slowing things down, I wonder if using one controller button to cycle through aspects of steam control might be a way to go to provide enough buttons in a usable way.
Then the current immersion controls would be for diesel/electric locos only and a new if not similar control scheme with that all important control cycle button could be set-aside for steam locos.

Or maybe it could just be made clear that the user needs a mouse and keyboard at purchase time :)
