Br 182 Stand Alone

If I just bought the 182 add on would it work on the other routes? Or do I have to buy rapid transit too?.

 

I'm not 100% sure, the BR 182 description says, that you need RT too.
Maybe the Taurus works standalone in the scenario planner, does anybody know it?

 

You must own RT.

 

You have to own RT for it to work, but if you do it does add other services to many other German routes.

 

RT does not add services (layers) anywhere. 182 adds services only to RT. 182 acts as a replacement on other routes (all, except SKA)

 

Matt is working on a new timetable for RRO which includes dosto services (which might include the 182), when if this will make it to the game however is unsure.

Yes. He said that it was basically done, but it needs to be checked by the preserved team and they then have to decide if they want to implement it or not. So it's not a confirmed thing as to the actual implementation, but it is definitely in the works.

 

Part of the updated timetable includes being able to drive the Dostos from the cab car instead of just the loco end, like at present. That’s not the only thing from what he was saying, but he didn’t divulge anything else. I’ve been driving the Dostos all over the place in the last few days, mostly in TSW2020 because of the TSW2 preserved collection issues and PS4 specific issues, so it would be nice at some point to drive them on RRO, if Matt’s new timetable is implemented. I think it would be pretty low priority for Adam’s team though, considering how much there is to fix, but you never know.

I know that's nearly impossible, but it would be really cool to be able to drive ICE services for those who own HMA, and maybe some shunting with the 363

 

It was intended for Rapid Transit as initially the route only had the Talent 2, so you need that route to use it. But you can run services in Ruhr-Sieg route with it too, without having Rapid Transit. Normally the locos are linked to routes and eventually they add them to multiple routes too as soon as they update their services.

Currently, at least in my case, the locomotive is available in all german routes services except the ones from new Köln route.

So to confirm, if you have RSN, you can use the 182 even if you have not purchased RT?

I have just uninstalled RT. 182 won't work without RT. BR

 

You need to purchase Rapid Transit as well, even if you wish to drive it on a different route.
