So I decided to try out twitch and was surprised that someone was watching me play this the other day. Do people stream this game very much or is it too much of a niche genre?
Don't know honestly, I sometimes stream for a friend, and you can hear him talking via TeamSpeak on twitch, but not me, in German. still I occasionally get some viewers Considering they can hear only one side of a conversation that is usually not about trains it makes me laugh every time!
People stream the game on youtube from what I can think you don't see much people streaming on twitch though
Used to stream it back in the day. Never had many viewers, but am planning to get back into streaming it with the Xbox Series X.
My main problem is I'm introverted so I've been shy about having my mic on and a video camera. But with proper props I think I could make it work. I can see it now... This is a Jamaica bound express doors are closing mind the gap, bing bong. Ladies and Gentlemen we are currently experiencing some slight delays as there appears to be a brawl over face mask usage at the next station. Enjoy the wifi and we will get moving momentarily.
Same I've been streaming a bit but mainly for specific reasons, for example when trying to work out the Duren S-Bahn bug. Not being able to talk I usually get a bit of individual views but they go away pretty much instantly because it's boring... what do you even talk about while driving a train lol? But I can see somebody able to talk in a stream doing good, since there is not much competition but people want to look at the game IMO
I've had people watch me for 3 hours, it was hilarious I had just arrived in Munich after about an hour of driving only to fail the mission at the last possible second because I kissed the bumper stop. So frustrating!
Nope my screen name for it is Grimace_Najee Yeah I get intense, have my rule books out and am calling signals out and doing station announcements, also I try to match the accent (poorly) for whichever line I'm on.
