CTRL+1 ftw, you don't need "hacks" to remove anything, as i said, get rid of it first..

    CTRL+1 = Next stop & objective marker on/off
    CTRL+2 = Next speed change on/off
    CTRL+3 = Next signal on/off
    CTRL+4 = Next speed & next signal on/off
    CTRL+5 = Speedometer on/off
    CTRL+6 = AP-points on/off
    CTRL+7 = Stop marker (red-yellow-green) on/off
    CTRL+8 = White pointer (dot) on/50%/off

I mean the candy like thing that show where to go, it used to be bluish in the previous version of the game, and is now black

You’re talking about the objective marker which you turn on and off with ‘Ctrl + 1’. The thing you think is a speed is not a speed. With the marker off it tells you the distance to go to the next objective.

    With that, I’m out.

Why then does it use the speed unit to show a distance

It should use the distance unit, like 2m to show it is 2 mile away

Because it doesn't. It tells you at what distance the new speed limit is

Yes, but the fact on the matter is, we have no idea what you are talking about. Also

    KM = Kilo - meter (1000 meter) - DISTANCE

    Km/h = Kilometres per Hour - SPEED

km= distance because Germany is metric, so the distance is 2 kilometers away
    Km/h= speed

If it really puts your knickers in a twist you can change it in the settings from metric to imperial. Because by default it is automatically set based on where the route is located.

    wrong

    KM means Kilo Meters
    Kilo means 1000

Speed is measured in KPH (Kilo Meters per Hour)

PS Because of the laws of physics on Earth and formulas like this one, e.g. v = s / t :D

But broski...how can that be true if there’s 5,280 feet in a mile, and 16 inches in a foot? That would make each kilometer at least 1000 square Newton’s. It’s obvious because y=mx+b, and DB+SNCF= USA

40 some years ago Canada decided to imitate the european and decided to use metrical system
so what we were taught when I was in high school, back then is that KM is a speed unit, for proof it is what is showing on speedmeter in car, trcuk, train and m is for distance
and the KM has no equivalance to anything it iis just it, does not realy matter in Canada we always say it take like 2 hrs from point A to point B
and m (meter) is the european way to call a mile, so 1 m = 1 mile

and if I were to use you example, that would mean the distance would be more than the planet itself is just between Munich and the other place

    Are you high?

Kilometer is a measure of distance, representing 1000 meters, Km/h or Kph is speed

Bro one mile is equivalent to about 1,609 meters...and one km is equivalent to 1000 meters

one meter is only 3 feet...so definitely not equivalent to a mile

I always said the metrical system does not make sense, but it is what it is taught in school
    1m = 1 mile
KM = nothing it is just a number and it represent a speed

    Mate,

    1 Mile = 1.609 meters
    1 Meter = 0.3048ft

    Km = Kilometer
    Km/h or Kph = Speed

    EDITED the obvious mistake

    Really??
    I agree, stop

He got past high school he's good enough to understand the metrical system better than us and we should all go back and think about our education and what we thought we actually knew about the universe.

OK. Please write again calmly what the problem is because I feel it is not trolling, but unfortunately, you cannot provide us with simple information. Leave these physical shortcuts alone and calmly write down what doesn't work.

I can’t figure this out. Half of me thinks we’re being trolled, half of me is full of sympathy and wants to help. I think the original question has been answered though, so perhaps time to knock it on the head.

FWIW He’s struggling with the Commuter Confusion scenario.

I would say he's turned the objective marker off and doesn't remotely understand units of measurement.

I would wager he’s also inadvertently turned off the stop marker.

OK. So we wait for sequencer2k16 to say the verdict :)
PS rat7_mobile, You can change this in the settings of the units of measurement you want to use in the game. Colleagues also wrote back above, how to turn on scenario marker -> [Ctrl] [1]

All he has to do is press CTRL+1 and CTRL+2 because he swapped his markers.
Then CTRL+7 to get the stop markers for the stations back, the scenario itself works perfectly.

EDIT: Once again, try this hotkeys for different markers. They are very useful to customize your HUD:

    CTRL+1 = Next stop & objective marker on/off
    CTRL+2 = Next speed change on/off
    CTRL+3 = Next signal on/off
    CTRL+4 = Next speed & next signal on/off
    CTRL+5 = Speedometer on/off
    CTRL+6 = AP-points on/off
    CTRL+7 = Stop marker (red-yellow-green) on/off
    CTRL+8 = White pointer (dot) on/50%/off

I understand your confusion. The menu is not very clear, it just says continue journey and the you need to be careful not to miss the chapter part. It is all meant to make it simple.

Posting screenshots would make it a bit easier for us to help you out and find out what you are looking at.

OK the #4 Journey run in the Munich, I can not get it to work
    1) first time I tried it, no matter what I was doing in the train, I could not get it to go, and I have used the silver train, and the train where there is only those that are similar to the one in Munich, ithink it is Rhien something or other (and I have all the section from the previous version, no matter what the country is)

    2) second tiem,I was finaly able to go to the station that you are sent to the left handside near the green fense, and there you have to go to the other front end and go, which it would not go, again I have no idea why

    3) third time, I was able to get to go after the turn over, and a few station down, it seems that I missed the station as there were no colour mat on the track showing where to stop, and when I was able to stop, I was prevented from going back because of red light, and this is as far I can get the Journey to go. all I can remember is the name on both side of the run is repeated twice, and it start with ME

Since the thrid time every time I tried it, I get the same result, so unless I go to less than 40KM, and be able to stop every where in a fraction of time, and then from the previous version of the game, the run can not be complkete as it was too slow, I have not tried to do any slow run in TWS2
