Saw on Rivet Games twitter tonight that the first patch for the IOW adding in texture fixes and timetables for both services and scenarios, amongst other things, rolls out tomorrow. It did only mention the Steam platform though so I'm hopeful it isn't just Steam exclusive and is available across all platforms.

Well since steam (PC Version) had no issues with the textures this would be a weird announcement if it wasn't for consoles

There were more issues with textures etc than just the shapes of the buttons. Like missing/glitched text above the buttons. Looking forward to this update though. The route is lovely and was let down by some sound and visualisation issues. I hope work is done on the sea. It looks blinking awful in its current form.

From what I've seen, wasn't one of the needles kind of missing on one of the dials? Maybe have been air pressure, but not 100% sure

Downloading 3.64 GB right now. A few other fixes in this update according to the update log, not just IOW.

Includes the trophies for the DB BR 363, GWE, NTP and the BR Heavy Freight Pack. It does not include the missing 6 trophies for IoW on PlayStation.

Seeing as core memory optimisation is in this update: does that mean that after installing this update all layers of HMA will be available?

Doubt it, it's probably the first of many optimisations

I’ve noticed doing a scenario on IoW the timetable is quite unforgiving.

Oh no. Had a feeling. Thought they may have at least switched the missing trophies on though

DTG Natster - Can you be more specific as to what optimisations have taken place?

Does Munich-Augsburg and Koln-Aachen run any smoother after this update?

After the update, the sound of the DB146 is still interrupted. It's still not the sound from the TSW2020. I reached a speed on the plain of 154 km / h.

I cannot imagine why they couldn’t easily add the flags for all routes, but I’ll take some progress over none.

I'd imagine they'll add the flags in as they release updates for the routes. Both ECW and MSB are mentioned in the latest update as having bug fixes, and both of these have had the flags added. Only a theory :)

No change for me. PS4 (non pro). I haven't loaded up the frame rate counter, but the freezes on a high speed, West bound ICE service still persist.

No new layers available after the update I'm afraid.

I thought about this too, but wrote it off when I saw that RSN received bug fixes as well. No one mentioned anything about it getting a German flag, but I haven’t yet checked myself.

If they just add a flag to the route name in the menu, you have to download the whole route (in an update) to get it, so they have said they will add the flags as the routes get other updates. If they had added all the flags at the same time you would have had to download all the preserved collection in one update!

Am I wrong, or the destination board towards Ryde is still broken? In general I'm enjoying this little route, with all those buttons fixed. A lot of other things need to be fixed, anyway. As someone already said, the sea textures look horrible, especially at night, but that reminds me of something similar in NEC.

How is the iow now after the first lot of bug fixes? I'm still in two minds about getting it.

It is very good now imo. When I first purchased it on release day I wished I had not bothered. Now I am very pleased that I have it in my collection.

Yes, very well made route. The only "problem" is its length. Not many things to do, just Shanklin-Ryde Pier Head and back, plus a couple of duties at Ryde depot, but definitely a pleasant way to spend 30 minutes.
