How do i use LZB on the S-bahn services. Is it just a dynamic speed restriction?

Yep, pretty much! The BR 423 lacks an the AFB feature anyways, so the reason LZB is used in the section between Munich and Pasing is to allow for trains to run closer to each other. Its possible for one train to be entering a station while another train is leaving the station, and still operate in a safe manner.

Keep to the speed limit indicated by LZB, brake when LZB tells you to do so (red G button) and decide for yourself to stop at the stations to pick up passengers. That is all.
