Dear Dovetail Games Team, i want to ask if there would ever be a German Route across Berlin and Brandenburg. My suggestion would be The Regional Express 5 from Wünsdorf-Waldstadt to Rostock Hbf or Stralsund Hbf. Maybe with old ex DR Dostos, DBuza 747 and DABbuzfa 760, because they where a part of my childhood. Sadley most of them where scraped. Maybe you could make the route like in the mid 2010s, but back then the line was the RE3. With friendly wishes Teddy
I also have new route suggestions for future Germany routes, based on the area around Berlin. I would like to see some Berliner S-Bahn trains or at least drive them in parts of the S-Bahn net, like in the Rhein/Ruhr area or around Munich. I've just modified a BR423 in the Livery Designer into a Berliner S-Bahn version to show what it would look like in Train Sim World. Last but not least I've researched two short route variations, which in each case only claim 1 hour of driving time, like on other typical TSW routes. Of course Berlin itself takes a lot of modeling and research time to create a convincing city. Maybe when Hamburg-Lübeck is finished, there will be a possibility to put it onto the roadmap...
Maybe, but the Stadtbahn was allready in some other Simulators, the Nord-Südtunnel would be allso great. btw the route can maybe start in Dahlewitz and just go to Gesundbrunnen or something like that. Maybe they can use the S2 too which runs almost the same route. And Freighttrains where also possible. I tried to recreate the route on Google Maps. Not 100% correct.
The Berliner Stadtbahn is a very good choice, but a lot of modeling work for DTG. There are a lot of buildings and landmarks to recreate. Often they use presets from already released routes for the Train Simulator, like they did with Munich-Augsburg (that's why the "Frauenkirche" is missing).
