I wish there was a route that was based off of White Pass Railway, the railway is placed on the border of Alaska and Canada, the trains are passenger tour trains, but sometimes work trains go up the track to do work. The train goes on bridges over fast moving rivers, and going up the mountain as the tracks are right next to steep cliffs. And more. If this was a route I would buy it as soon as it was made.
I want this route. The WP&Y RR has a few steam locos for excursions as well as the diesels. The steam locos could be a great addition. I'd also love the WP&Y RR rotary snowplow to be included for winter operations.
