Hi Dovetail, you have changed the Sounds of some Trains. Baureihe 146 is now possible to drive their maximum speed, but the Sound is still a vacuum cleaner with Sound loop! Are you trying to fix this? Thanks in Advance System PS4.
it is on the roadmap, it might still take some time, but the last piece of preserved collection should be released shortly (in the train addon for NTP) and at least we were told that after that they would have more time at hand to turn to these issues.
I made a similar thread here This was reported to be an issue on XBOX as well, and as of the time of writing they've already applied the fix in the latest update. But not on the PS4 as far as I'm aware. Btw to those who don't know what the issue is exactly, its that the BR 146 and the BR 185 sound different than when they were on TSW2020. There is a sharp and instantaneous change in tone from the traction motors as you accelerate, and this happens when decelerating too, just in reverse. The result is this weird and jarring experience as you pull out of a station.
Yes it is horrible, easily the worst of the preserved Sound issues. Like you can at least drive the others harmless, the sound of the 146 kills my ears. Have to reduce game volume alot. Oh and you hear bypassing 146 trains from a mile away, they are so loud...
They fixed this but the current sound is still crappy DTG Protagonist You Need to fixed again to get the TSW 2020 sound
"They fixed it but did not fix it" The sound fix in this patch is not the sound remix from the roadmap.
when porting the train from the previous UE version to TSW2's UE version the way sound is handled by the engine has changed drastically and thus mixed up alot of volumes of different sound layers and some other bugs like quiter horns with open windows emerged.
I know what you mean, when going high speed you get micro stutters from the rendering I suppose and apparently it messes with the sound loop. It sounds like you play one tone on your flute and then tap your finger on one hole
