Particularly love the suggestion of the Blue Pullman, but they are all excellent ideas.

More please, if you don't ask, you don't get.....

I want ET44ACs in UP, CSX, NS, and CN, plus BNSF ET44C4s. Also, I want more Genset Switchers (in BNSF, UP, and NS liveries), SD70ACe-T4s (in UP, CSX, and EMD/Progress Rail Prototype liveries), ATSF 4-8-4s (3751, 3765, and 2900 series), N&W J-Class, A-Class, and Y6b-Class steam locos for an N&W steam era route, and ATSF F45s/FP45s.

Anything KCS in particular would be great! Conrail would also be nice, such as their unique SD50's.

As alluded to by theorganist Caledonia Works is making a brand new Hughes Crab, but it's not that high on his very considerable to-do list. Luckily he makes new locos at a ridiculous speed! ;)

There is indeed, available here: https://www.major.wales/reskins/LSL

My real, ultimate and undying dream is to see something in TS from the early days of steam, 1820/30/40s.
Also GWR broad gauge, something really different.

Lol don't shoot me if it doesn't appear. I am hoping the Adams 02 which was on his list at the beginning of the year still happens. It will be perfect for the Withered Arm.

It amazes me how quick he makes them, I have a few of his loco's and they are all good quality.

MW's TfW skins are the reason I ended up buying the 158C, 170 & 175 AP enhancement packs. As someone who has been re-skinning models myself for nearly 15 yrs I think I have enough experience to say with authority that his skins are exceptional.

I will undoubtedly get the AP 142, 150/2* the 153 the 158P and probably the 91 & 67 with their respective AP EP packs too, they are all on my wishlist, just need to get me a rich sugar daddy, any offers? :P :D

*(I have the ATW 150/2 on Steam I'm assuming that's different to the AP one)

The AP 158 Cummings is one of my favourite trains to drive. The sound is exceptional. I just wish the roof textures were not so damned SHINY!... looks a bit pants if you ask me.

Yes.. the AP one is better :)

I found I did not like the windows in the AP 158 Cummins so I swapped them for something clearer

Having downloaded the excellent backdated North London line et-al from the Backdated Trainsim site I have another suggestion. It is set in 1983 when Broad Street station was still just about in operation. In 1983 the Broad Street to Richmond and Broad Street to Watford trains were in the hands of the class 501, something we don't have in TS1.

Also it brings another reason to have the class 104 as the Gospel Oak to Barking Line was operated by class 104 power twin sets from what I can gather. Stratford had class 105's for the North Woolwich service which were power trailer sets and in the sim, but it seems the timing load for the Gospel Oak line called for power twin sets, probably due to the frequency and closeness of station stops, I have seen photo's of class 104's operating the service, none of class 105 sets, including in the late 80's the Old Oak Common class 104 sets which were pairs of DMBS vehicles in network south east livery.

Coming very soon Eric, I've been driving it up and down the WCML South for the past couple of days - currently in the middle of kitting both cabs out. I will knuckle down over the next few days and try and get the cabs close to complete. I still need to kit out the exterior lights, lasers and other bits but they shouldn't take too long either. Key thing is that at some point in the near future I'll be having a good chat with a tamper driver, so I'll be able to pick his brains over what does what beyond what I already understand.

Really coming on now, so tempted to put a video up, but I think the insides deserve finishing up a little before anything else is shown and maybe the exterior too. Still aiming to have it built before Christmas. Fingers crossed :)

This has been said many times. Makes me wonder what Master Key Solutions are doing with their 47 model. Only thing holding other people back from doing one I reckon.

dunkrez Don't suppose you fancy converting a Class 319 EMU into a Class 769 BMU at some point do you? :D:D

Just kidding, I'm seriously failing with editing the bin files, my brain is now officially mush..

The one in the Virgin 1st Gen pack wasn't too bad, and it's also in the new Welsh Marches. Just needs re skinning. I do wonder why AP or as you say, Master Key haven't done something. I mean... they'll (AP and Gu) do a 317, but not a loco that had 500 built, and was literally everywhere on the UK rail network for over 50 years.... and still is, with around 50 still mainline registered. AP do what they want though... which in a way is good... but come on.... TS needs a decent spoon.

I think he was joking - referring to Minecraft's blocky, pixellated style to make fun of the ageing Kuju 47.

Depends what deals were made when said 47 was brought to market. TSW got it. TS never did? Fishy.

Can be done just by editing the bin files - easier if you have some working knowledge of the blueprint editor. I can probably help you along with what you are doing.

Never done that before, so that will be a learning curve. The thing is, many reskins already exist for the Virgin 1st Gen 47... so it would just be just getting them to work with the Bossman Games version in Welsh Marches.

I think the class 47 in TSW is the one MKS were developing for TS1, that is what I was told when I raised the question of its whereabouts.

Pure speculation, but to secure better trains for TSW, maybe a deal was done.

Can't see any other reason as to why that 47 never made it to TS.

Well quite, as it would be very popular I am certain, having worn so many liveries and been seen in every part of the country over so many decades.

VP have improved the Kuju one and with the AP sound pack it isn't too bad but still lacks features. It would be good to see the Virgin one make an appearance, maybe a Intercity and/or RES/EWS pack, even better with a suitable route.

Maybe AP will surprise us, he/they tend to keep their cards close to their chests so something might come out of the blue. They have done the class 37 and I would say the 47 was more in need of a new offering.

Biggest shame about that 47 is that it doesn't (or didn't last time I had a go) run correctly. It's woefully underpowered compared to the 45 included in the same route.

There was an issue with the class 47 being underpowered but that was on consoles, it has been fixed I think.

The 47 in TSW that should have made it to TS. Any dev team wanting to make a 47 will be discouraged by the fact that a MKS 47 exists out there on someone's pc ready to throw into TS's blueprint editor in a heartbeat.

    What to do?

Unless, because it was released on TSW means it won't be on TS1. That is the implication I read, somewhere on here, but when and by whom is a distant memory I am afraid!

Anyway as much as I would love to see a new class 47. I will continue to bang my favourite drum about the lack of first generation multiple units and how even a few could enhance some routes, many of the freeware ones.

I suppose third rail stock isn't badly represented although I would love to see a more up to date class 421 and 423. But AC EMU's are virtually non-existent, there are several very useful and wide spread DMU's missing plus some of the more bespoke EMU's like the 501.

+1 for some slam door AC EMUs. They'd be fab for some late-BR dilapidated filth scenarios (which are the best!) - the 303 is doing a lot of implausible standing-in here :0

The Masterkey 47 as I understand it is now the one in TSW and the TS1 one will not be happening or unlikely to be so.

Well it is 13 years old! There are upgrades and reskins if you look around. The AP pack transforms the sounds and to be honest I think it looks fine with most of the reskins. It is the cab which is the worst aspect of it and I suppose the lack of functions in newer DLC.
