If we want to achieve high speed in Germany, we need electricity in TSW2. I would therefore suggest the DB BR 218 as a future add-on. The 218 is a German all-rounder. You could see it in all services you can imagine, from Inter City, regional trains to freight transport. With a top speed of 140 to 160 km/h, the 218 could be used as an alternative locomotive for any other locomotive that is currently available in TSW2.
Very nice suggestion. Maybe the upcoming V60 is an indicator that there‘s more diesel to come (a man can have hope, right?)
We need the BR 218 in TSW2 asap. She's indeed an allrounder and could be brought into the game for a broad variety of missions. And she's very popular among railway fans, myself included. I'd pay dear money for the BR 218. BR 232 and/or 132 would be a welcome addition aswell!
Is already confirmed to be in development by third party. But don't expect it to be soon, seems as there are about 4 trains coming before that one.
[QUOTE = "eire007, publicación: 202263, miembro: 17424"] Necesitamos algo más que Alemania. ¿No tenemos suficiente ya? [/ QUOTE] Exactly . wee need more countries
We don't need any more german stuff. There is already way too many German content for tsw. I would like to see different content from other countries or more American passenger routes like lines from the MTA Metro North Railroad
To be honest, I am all in favour of getting more German routes and trains because there is so much potential for amazing routes. Furthermore, DTG have the licences from DB (I’m pretty sure). It is good to have other countries, but make the most of what they can make now, until they can work the other countries into the game. They are very slowly working other countries into the game, and that’s the way to go.
If that's your opinion, that's nice. If you as an American want more American routes then that's OK but you shouldn't put down other people's suggestions just because you don't like them. If you want American routes then suggest them in the forum. I guess DTG is bringing so much German rolling stock onto the market because it sells best. (Just a guess) Sorry for Google Translate English.
German content probably sells the best because most of the tsw2 content are german. I would also like different content from other countries as well.
Doesn't off the rails mode make the need for more german deisels less important + we currently have 2 german deisels.
There are two german diesel trains. The 363 is much better of a train in terms of services than the 204 in my opinion so we really don't need more German diesels and we got off the rails as well so you can run them on other routes
You shouldn't compare the DB BR 218 with the 204/363. The 218 is better to compare with the DB BR 146/185 a Highspeed Loco. That would also be the first German high-speed diesel train in TSW2
But they are only shunters. There are so many other German diesels that can be used for Passenger and freight. The Class 218 being one of them.
I'm not against a full size german deisel but for some reason dtg seem determined to crank out full size electric german locomotives, maybe that what there german fans want, haven't you noticed how most of the current new routes are mainly german.
oh lord give me strength. Yes you are right, the game released with 3 german routes: "Sand Flicken Grad", "Bäckertoilette" and Schnellfahrstrecke Köln Aachen. The first Dlc was the german short route "Insel von Wicht", followed by the second german Dlc Hauptstrecke München Augsburg. And one look on the roadmap shows clearly all the german routes that are coming: -"Südöstliche Hochgeschwindigkeit: London heiliger Pankras to Favoritschein" -"Mittelmeer-Hochgeschwindigkeitsstrecke Marseille to Avignon" -"Schilfrohr-Bach" -"Klammerfeld: Elchhorn to Dante" -"Arosabahn: Arosa to Chur" -Hamburg to Lübeck I hope they finally do some content from other countries as well, it is only german routes announced so far.
I'm not against german routes or extra locos,i really enjoy most of them. But i'm have know idea if these comments below are ment to be serious or sarcastic.
Neither, he's trying to point out that there's not only German content being made and he is right. There are 7 British and 7 German routes in game at the moment. If anything, there is not enough american content not "too much german stuff". And no, 204 and 363 are far from a large mainline diesel like the 218 and that's what this thread is all about.
I'm some what surprised that in the current roadmap theres nothing being worked on for canada,at the least a loco+freightcar or loco+passengercars would be at least worth considering.canada is the 4th county that made it into tsw2020 near it's end, surely canada deserve some kind of add on.
Canadian National was a disaster when it was released. I do think maybe they could make the toronto subway in tsw2
