Just curious. If I have measurements on automatic, shouldn't the speed and distance be in kph and km for a Canadian route. My HUD shows mph and miles.

Canadian Railroads use MPH for their speedlimits AFAIK.

Hold over from before Canada switched to metric and the railroads decided not to change. Aren't the speed limit signs in Great Britain still in MPH?

Britain is a strange semi metric semi imperial bodge (I say that as an Englishman).

Liquids are now litres, small distances are often metres/cm, weights are kg (unless you are on about people then it’s stone, lbs and oz)
Our longer distances and speeds are always imperial however (miles/mph).

Beer and milk are still in pints, though :)

Yep - exactly the entire problem over here in Britain. Although a pint of milk is technically sold as 568ml of milk... (I think it has something to do with the EU.. but lets please change the topic. I come here to avoid politics :D )
