I'm catching 8lb on it a lot and its a struggle to bring in said 8 pound. If the line is 30lb shouldn't I be reeling in even a boss fish at 8 lb in seconds? The 30lb line rarely catches big fish even with size 4 hook.
Hook size, bait and equipment don't really matter anymore... you can catch anything with anything. I've had Cutts (65lb) on size 12/Bloodworm, 4lb Tench on size 4/tigernuts 20mm.
For anyone who cares.. the 30lb line catches 10-15 lb fish. The 25lb line catches the 40 + Makes no sense. This line snaps all the time also. I think its just 10lb line really. I want my 9000TP back. http://www.ridgemonkey.co.uk/item/rm-tec-braided-mainline The RM-Tec Braided Mainline has performed excellently throughout the extensive testing period and has assisted in the downfall of carp to well over 50lb both home and abroad. It will be joined by a dedicated floating Spod & Marker braid very shortly. Sort it out 15lb fish should dragged in seconds. I expect they haven't set this line up correctly in the last patch. What a waste of 9000 TP when the 25lb braid is better/
