Have a problem with them...can`t roll them...where can I find instruction or a video to help me please.. Thanks
Here is a link to Searchlight's Youtube page you find the videos that should help you out. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvOaTEyELvLt9IGHfymixqQ
Thanks for the link. Those are excellent videos; I can't wait to get back into the virtual cab and try the blended braking technique. I have heard that you want to stay on the throttle until your train crests the hill to control the bunch up. I didn't realize that one way to accomplish that is to still be on throttle after a minimum reduction. I wonder if this is different depending on whether there is a rear DPU or just an EOT.
You're welcome I am really enjoying what they have done with this loco. I like the more realistic hands approach it gives I find it gives a more appealing drive. Learning how to actual operate a loco the way it is meant to be done is more fun in my mind.
I've added this to the collection, haven't tried it yet though - I know I'm going to be blown away with the detailing. Exciting times.
You will be definitely be very satisfied with it and yes for a lack of better word you will be blown away. Enjoy
Behind You, on the wall. There is a switch: Start/Run/Isolate. Change it to Run Documentation is in the folder where that loco is installed. Shift+R to put the 'reverser key' in at first!
There is a new patch on their website fixing some Brake pipe bugs and improving the overall experience, make sure you install that as well. They will release the fix to steam as well, but that might take some time. What a passionate product... I love it.
I like this, although for a loco it's [to me] a bit on the pricey side... Rumour has it that it is extremely graphically demanding... Is it??? I'm just wondering if my intel i7 & 6gb GTX1060 could handle it??? Eric
More CPU than GPU in my opinion, but - very demanding. From DLC documentation: EDIT: my Lenovo ideapad 330 is not enough. Playable, but... very low fps.
The only problem with that for me is to put the reverser key in place .....you need a lot of patience to make it work
I think not sure that the problem is the keyboard ...I have a hyper x and How can you start that on 64 ....like I said...the problem is me I think....I m getting old for that maybe...thanks
Thanks... On that basis I shouldn't have a problem then, but I think I'll have to wait until its quite heavily discontinued before I'll be able to get it!!! Eric
Hatt's off to the guys at Searchlight Simulations. The AC4400 is fantastic. Something really cool is that they have managed to implement curve drag. When the train enters a curve the "under the hood" throttle is decreased so that the net tractive effort is lowered (to gross tractive effort minus the curve drag). It also seems to feature realistic brake application timings depending on whether the train has only lead locomotives or rear DPUs. The brake force is also more realistic than the TSW AC4400, although (I think), unfortunately without simulated brake fade at higher speeds, which is something TSW does although unrealistically. All in all, if you want to drive a realistic North American freight train on a DTG platform, you'll find it on TS2021 via Searchlight Simulations AC4400 rather than on TSW (currently).
The problem is fix...it was me, you have to start that on 64 bit...and those locomotives are just great to run and hope one day they make some for union pacific .. Thanks to all....
Unfortunately f you wait until it is heavily discontinued it will not be available. This is a superb locomotive and worth every penny. You need to step up to get this quality. It will be available on the developers website as well.
Finally got around to taking this beast for a spin last night, and wow, well done Searchlight Simulations. Stunning.
can you tell me please why you can`t....thanks this is just a question from a cp fan...thanks and do you plan for the future to have more cp engine or- and cars..thanks....and these engine are just great to run
The Teoli was the only product we were allowed to distribute via Steam by the original creator within Jointed Rail. The rest of the products are restricted in distribution because of JRs wishes.
