Short Platforms.

    One of the problems with Off The Rails is that your train can’t be longer than the shortest platform that you stop at en route. In the real world, there are trains that stop at stations with short platforms and only certain doors open. I don’t know how feasible this would be to model but I would like to be able to drive trains without restrictions. If this can’t be done, maybe have an option to either be realistic (i.e as it is now) or to turn this feature off so that any train can be used on any route.

    ICE on the Isle of Wight would be great!

    You're train only has to fit in your starting platform, it can be longer than any platforms you stop at. Just ignore the maximum length, as long as it fits in your starting location you can use the train.

    I do agree though, that it would be nice to use longer trains than are currently possible, though I don't know how easy that'd be to make possible.
