Hi all (here we go again...)...

I've downloaded & successfully(!) installed the Moorgate Extension (NCLv5) from Backdated Trainsim...

However... When I go to load the [standard] scenarios they fail with the following errors:

    Drill Disruption
Consist Builder - Can't load Rail Vehicle - APW Class 313 FCC DMSO-A
Consist Builder - Can't load Rail Vehicle - APW Class 313 FCC PTSO
Consist Builder - Can't load Rail Vehicle - APW Class 313 FCC DMSO-B
Consist Builder - Can't load Rail Vehicle - APW Class 313 FCC DMSO-A
Consist Builder - Can't load Rail Vehicle - APW Class 313 FCC PTSO

    2F43
Consist Builder - Can't load Rail Vehicle - APW Class 313 GN OldDMSO-A
Consist Builder - Can't load Rail Vehicle - APW Class 313 GN OldPTSO
Consist Builder - Can't load Rail Vehicle - APW Class 313 GN OldDMSO-B
Consist Builder - Can't load Rail Vehicle - APW Class 313 GN OldDMSO-A
Consist Builder - Can't load Rail Vehicle - APW Class 313 GN OldPTSO

    2K76
Consist Builder - Can't load Rail Vehicle - [91/1] MK4 DVT Virgin TrainsEC (LED Lights)
    Consist Builder - Can't load Rail Vehicle - [91/1] VTEC Coach M
    Consist Builder - Can't load Rail Vehicle - [91/1] VTEC Coach L
    Consist Builder - Can't load Rail Vehicle - [91/1] VTEC Coach K
    Consist Builder - Can't load Rail Vehicle - [91/1] VTEC Coach H

Does anyone know why this is happening and what can I do to fix it??? I have the London Overground BR Class 313 EMU Add-On and also the Marketplace Network South East BR Class 313 Livery Pack Add-On, but the Moorgate Extension notes say NOTHING else is required to play the add-on... I've tried sending a message to backdated trainsim but after 2 weeks have not had any reply.

As usual, any help is much appreciated... It looks really good and I'm itching to drive the route!!!

    Eric

Those livery codes are FCC and GN for the 313, so that's first capital connect and Great Northern. These are probably part of the Class 313 pack available from Armstrong Powerhouse own website, rather than the thinned out version available off the Steam Store.

As to the Class 91, it lists LED lights, so I think it is a livery expansion pack available somewhere.

The web page says the manual will contain details of additional requirements for scenarios, so that should be where you'll find definitive answers.

Scenario planners usually try and be as realistic as possible, you could always swap the consists out using RW Tools of you know how.

It's not something I'm familiar with or know how to do but it's something I really need to learn how to do it...

I recommend you do. Any scenario that required DLC you don't have can be swapped out for something you do have. I never got the Virgin 390 before it was axed, so any scenario that uses that for AI I just swap it out for the original pendolino with a Virgin reskin. It looks identical.

Another example: So many great scenarios use the tragic Kuju 37... so you can swap it out for the Armstrong Powerhouse 37.

It's very useful. I'm sure there must be tutorials on YouTube.

Yes.. that's a good one from Tom. His video even has Layton Station as as wallpaper :) ( I live a stone's throw from there).

No probably about it... "APW Class 313" was the give-away there :) APW = Armstrong Powerhouse/Waggonz

That will be the VTEC pack from BH reskins, which also needs the Armstrong Powerhouse 91 enhancement pack.

    Thanks for the replies guys...

As I've said before it really bugs me when one bit of DLC ends up being intertwined with another...

Am I correct in presuming that the VTEC 91 set could be switched out for my Inter City 91 set???

It could, yes, but that woudl look a little out of place in a scenario set in a time when Virgin operated the East Coast mainline.

Although I've not looked, is there another VTEC livery by someone else for the DTG class 91?

Ahhh... I thought it was based on the NSE time period... As such the IC91 would have fitted in quite nicely... Thinking about "backdating" the stock to NSE in the other scenarios...

You could do... but then you have to consider station signage.. things like GSM-R masts... all manner of stuff that shouldn't be there in the pre privatisation days tend to intrude. It depends how much of a purist you are about these things.

    Pookyhead...

I'm not a total purist... Things like station signage don't bother me that much...

If I can get the hang of RW Tools I'll swap out the AP 313 for my NSE 313...

You might be better off using TS-Tools the latest successor to RW_Tools!
I have run those scenarios and they run OK on my system

I probably will at some point but for now I'll have to put up with the slimmed down London Overground version...
