I definitely would like to see the Stevens Pass Route made for Train Sim World! G-Trax has done an excellent job in modeling this route for Train Simulator. Let's do the same for Train Sim World!

This would be nice but with the licensing issue it would only be available to user in the US and that would not work out very well for most users of the game.

Not going to happen anytime soon due to the BNSF licensing restriction I'm sure (that is, if Dovetail Games is going to make it). But if Dovetail Games makes it for Train Sim World, then please have it be the full Stevens Pass subdivision from Wenatchee to Seattle. It's disappointing that the Train Simulator 2018 version ends abruptly in Mukilteo.

How does BNSF impose a license restriction? Is this a copyright issue with their logos?

Well yes; every train operating company owns the rights to their branding. DTG needs to seek a license from the company to represent them in the game or DTG could be sued.

Since late 2014 or 2015, BNSF imposed a licensing restriction on all licensed content to the point where it can only be sold in the United States. Dovetail Games has been trying to make content that is sellable to the whole world. Third parties on the other hand, that's a different matter.

The only BNSF content that can be bought outside of the US is 3rd party. And it is literally 2 DLC: the Racetrack, and then Clear Creek Narrow Gauge, which isn't even a BNSF route. DTG have done absolutely nothing to make BNSF things work outside of the USA.

BNSF is a rail road company, if they have restrictions on the use of their logos in a game, then DTG should make a generic rail road company that doesn't brake any licensing rules. . Stevens Pass and Canadian rockys would be a great route as addition to TSW. It is probably one of the most wanted according to the dicussions here.
