When playing in wet weather, wheelslip is also happening underground where it’s not wet, making it impossible to keep to the times and stop at the stations at the pace required.
As far i know, there shouldn't be any improved physics on Preserved Routes except for Sand Patch as it has been rebuilt from the ground up. The same issue exists with other dlc like the DB BR 155 which has zero wheelspin with a dozen fully loaded wagons and rain. I might be wrong tho. Cheers
This is a bit annoying. When you start from Elephant & Castle you can tell it’s raining at Queen’s Park like some kind of fortune teller. I’m taking from this that the adhesion modelling is route-wide and isn’t compatible with underground routes. I’m hoping for a system where it is variable along the length of the route to rectify this.
Will have to investigate if there is something similar in IOW with the little tunnel. When its wet is it more or less difficult to get up the hill. D
I believe they did though, as I remember having wheelslip on LIRR. On wet/snowy weather put brakes to full and the wheels will block. Even the speedo will show 0 mph.
That sounds great. I need to try that with the M3, love to be inside the cab while it is snowing . Thank you for the info.
