I ran into an aspect between Tilford and Reading on the GWR which activated the alerter, even though the signal was showing green. What I noticed was, there was an auxiliary indication beside the main head of 2 white horizontal bars being displayed. I searched Google and looked at several sites on British signal and could find nothing about this. Now considering that I was approaching a low speed turnout while on the down fast, I wondered if it was another way to show the flashing yellow aspects? Thanks for any help on this.
