I would like to be able to watch my train crash instead of it coming up with a service failure notification. For people who like the service failure thing there could be an option in the settings
That is how DTG will lose there licensing The thing is that some railroads don't wan't to see trains derail in a Sim.
In TS at least from what I’ve seen you can see the train crash for a longer time but it does still come up with the service failure thing
I'm sure there are games you can buy that would satisfy your need for disasters. TSW2 isn't that kind of game.
I wouldn't mind a more realistic derailment simulation, but as derailment is the thing you kinda should be avoiding, I wouldn't put too many resources into developing such a simulation.
I understand where the OP is coming from and you can see a brief glimpse of the train derailing in game, but it’s really not about that and for licensing reasons I doubt ToC’s would want pictures of their trains, albeit in game, off the tracks etc.
Nobody should be talking about losing licenses as the reason there shouldn’t be realistic derailments and crashes in the game. That’s not the reason. The reason is that it’s not what TSW is about and nobody should be using their train simulator to crash trains anyway. I was switching in Cumberland yard and I had an unexpected derailment. It would have been nice to go and look along the train to see what had caused the derailment but the session ends too soon for that. But generally those asking for the session not to end aren’t asking for that reason, they just want to crash their trains for fun, and that just isn’t right.
I think that maybe to see why your train derailed if it was by accident would be cool . But if it's just to purely crash the train and derail it on purpose, then DTG would probably not want to implement that in the game
I didn’t word what I was saying right that is what I meant because I do want to know what the cause to the crash was
