    Hi everyone,
I'm downloading this game and about to play for the first time. Is there any subway routes? London Underground, MTA, Asian Subways, etc any of these that are available in base game/expansions packs? I'm more into those types of trains and bullet-like Trains than the old CSX types. I like making lots of stops like within a city, are there routes/trains like this?

Yes, the Bakerloo line is included with the game. The MTA line (non-subway, but loads of stops) comes with the Long Island Rail Road DLC, this can be bought seperately, but it's recommended to also buy the TSW2020 for 15 bucks instead when it is on sale. This includes that DLC + several others, which you can then use in TSW2 as well.

There is also the Rapid Transit DLC, which includes load of stops and the Great Western Express (GWE is also included in TSW2020) which has a commuter line with a lot of stops. There are also several others with S-Bahn trains, which are relatively quick stop commuter routes as well.

If you like High Speed, there's also the German ICE represented in Koln-Aachen (included in base game) as well as Hauptstrecke München - Augsburg, both have commuter S-bahn services (the former requires the add-on Rhein Ruhr Osten for the S-bahn services to run), Great Western Express also includes the British InterCity 125.
All these are lifted from the respective Steam pages:

    ICE 3M (Koln-Aachen)

There’s only 1 subway route. The Bakerloo Line of the London Underground. No NYC Subway lines (MTA) but there is a lackluster LIRR Route.

As for bullet trains, I guess you can consider the BR 403 a bullet train.

Im a person that has REALLY been pushing for more Subway lines (London Underground, Chicago, NYC, Berlin, San Francisco). Subways aren’t DTG’s priority, and besides, whenever some suggests a subway route, there’s always people who say “who wants to be in a tunnel the whole time” to try and shut it down.

The routes that have you making lots of stops in a city area are Rhein Ruhr Osten, LIRR, Hauptstrecke Munich-Augsburg and Bakerloo.

There's two ICE routes available, one of them included in the base package. A TGV route is in production.

Most of them are above ground, but Rapid Transit and Long Island Rail Road feature plenty of stops and a few underground bits.
East Coastway, Rhein-Ruhr Osten and Great Western Express also include plenty of stations to stop at, but in a less urban environment. Great Western Express also feature the HST.
Tees Valley and Northern Trans-Pennine also include plenty of passenger stops, but are set in an older time period.
