ooh, I love the A&A. I remember riding it when I was young. Very neat history. 2-8-0 #18 hauls the excursion trains (currently out of service waiting for repairs) GE 44-tonner # 112 handles freight duties and passenger excursions when #18 isn't available. below is a shot of the interchange with the Buffalo & Pittsburgh railroad, where the A&A gets it's freight. Sometimes #18 even gets in on the freight action!
It would be such a nice route to have once steam trains get figured out. Some passenger services, and some freight switching as well. As of the spring, #18 was in need of serious boiler repairs. #110 is currently on display with a boxcar and caboose, with an open cab to explore. Yeah I have family by there I was there last summer got to ride cabin of either 112 or 113 it was fun they were moving power to the back or front depending on how you look at it
