I think those unhappy with the route length of Munich-Augsburg ought to write to Angela Merkel and politely request that she move the two cities further apart.
That's not really constructive. Of course, the problem is not that the route from Munich to Augsburg is too short but that the route only goes to Augsburg.
But who will be easily persuaded to change: Angela or DTG? At least let them move the city by this 10 km...
Quick question, before I pick it up. Does anyone know if the DB 423 got the right door sounds in the final build? I remember that during the pre-release stream (2 days before it came out) someone pointed out to Matt that the train got the wrong door sound, saying that it should be the same sound as the DB 422 doors, instead of the DB 425 sounds which it had in that stream. He said that they would fix it, but I don't know if they actually did.
The 425's door sounds are actually more accurate than the 422's https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/db-423-correct-tür-sound.28933/#post-193732
One more question, does this route have any freight services through layers if you own additional DLC? (Such as services with the DB BR 155)
Got ya. Just wanted to make sure what you meant with "largely A to B runs". I guess you mean that there aren't mechanics like banking, shunting etc and just 'regular routes' ?
The 363 is a wonderful drive and I would love to see it spread to other routes such as this one. I wonder if there are plans to release “Scenario Packs” with specific locos and routes in the future?
I guess the 363 doesn't have any services for it since it got released after the route came out. DTG doesn't seem to do a lot of backpatching when it comes to services.
I would not mind seeing DTG package some scenarios and a new wagon or 2 in a pack that introduces locos to routes and provides a service layer. Well worth paying for IMHO.
