Unreal engine 4 doesn't have DLSS support outside of Nvidia's special build so it's not really possible. Epic was always against implementing hardware-specific features and DLSS is no exception.
Not impossible though. Some of these features may go into the Epic main release at some point in the future. For now, they’re available to you. We maintain several branches of UE4, which includes a DLSS 2.0 branch with all current RTX improvements. https://news.developer.nvidia.com/g...time-ray-tracing-and-dlss-in-unreal-engine-4/
DTG uses a heavily modified version of a stock UE4 release (I think it's 4.23 at the moment) so DLSS is definitely far from being a drop-in feature.
Be interesting if Natalie or Sam could drop an impossible or possible at some point, DLSS would help the performance substantialy.
If this is more possible now why not implement this plug-in? "compatible with UE4.26" https://news.developer.nvidia.com/updates-to-nvidias-unreal-engine-4-branch-dlss-and-rtxgi-available-now/#:~:text=NVIDIA DLSS Plugin for UE4&text=It is available for the,DLSS plugin for UE4 here. Be interesting to know how many players have RTX cards?
